(Y)our sunny apartment with canal view (canal crossing of Kostverloren vaart and Bilderdijkkade), is a homely apartment in a quiet yet very central neighbourhood. Fully furnished, utensils & linnen and first coffees included: ready for you to move in right away. On the first floor of a 1983 concrete building, so no squeaking floors or noise from neighbours.

Thanks to its second bedroom our apartment is great for families with children. The friendly neighbourhood on a canal peninsula (often referred to as a green, hidden gem) is overal pretty quiet and we ideally look into renters who can appreciate that fact. You can look out over the passing boats and the lawn with playground. With the spacious balcony facing south, the apartment is sunny all day long with calming dancing reflections of the watersides surrounding the apartment.

The neighbourhood is at the intersection of Jordaan, Oud-West, Westerpark and Baarsjes / Bos & Lommer. A short walk from supermarkets (400 meters) nice cafes, restaurants, the best bakery in Amsterdam, parks, playgrounds and (nice for kids!) dipping pools. A short bikeride to city centre (7 min to Dam square - 12 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station). The apartment is well connected with a 20 minute taxi ride to airport.

Because the apartment is on the tip of the Marcantilaan Peninsula, you are in the middle of the city, but without the noise. Literally enclosed on three sides by water and at the end of a cul-de-sac. Destination traffic only, (or sometimes people who took the wrong turn :D) so very quiet in general. The south-facing large balcony has sun almost all day. The sofa is soft and comfortable. With two bedrooms, the apartment is greatly suited for a couple, even with kid(s). A baby crib/cot is available upon request. Or you can use the second bedroom as a dedicated office to work from home.

The apartment (73 m2) on the first floor has a large open living space with a new modern kitchen, a bar and a view over the canals and the passing boats. Build in concrete, great isolation, makes for a comfortable quiet place in direct vicinity of the hustling and bustling of the city.

Featuring 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with double bed (160 * 200cm - Queen) and big closet space for loads of clothes or other stuff. 1 bedroom with one or two single beds (90 * 200 cm each) with a closet too. If desired we have babycrib(s) and we can remove bedding as desired.

Bathroom: large cupboard with full facing mirrors including 220volt connections for toothbrush/razor. Stylish sink-on-cupboard for towels (included) storage. Rain shower and nice hot deep bath with extra shower.

The toilet is separated from the bathroom.

Storage room: Heater, a Miele laundry machine, and a Miele tumble dryer and shelfs for storing stuff.

Work from home office: If desired you can perfectly work on the dining table in the living room, or you can repurpose the second bedroom as a full fledged office space. We are happy to think along with you and advice you if desired.

Balcony: the balcony is south-facing with only the green tip of Marcanti-island in front of you (no cars). The only noise you hear is the passing by of boats. It features a foldable wooden 4/6 person dining table and chairs.
